The year is 2025 and memecoins are trading at an all-time high. So much so that arguably the best chain - in terms of Transactions Per Second (TPS), Total Value Locked (TVL), and Decentralised Applications (dApps) - has been overlooked in the pursuit of getting rich overnight.

Having been an integral part of the Sonic (and Fantom) community for almost half a decade, we decided to work with - not against - the trends of the industry.

Everybody anticipated Sonic to skyrocket in price following its migration from Fantom. Unfortunately, this was not to be. Market conditions and Bitcoin FUD led to dumping instead of pumping. Sonic was dead.

Or so they thought. Up steps Fat Sonic - a memecoin that represents the idea that Sonic is not dead, Sonic is bulking. No one should stop loving Sonic because of its underperformance. Fat Sonic is still Sonic.

Our thinking is this. Slowly but surely normies will hear about Fat Sonic, and when they do, we’ll be there to guide them through the purchasing process. They begin learning about wallets, gas fees, and all other basic aspects of Web3.

And which chain will they use? Yup, the one with the best technology. They will come for Fat Sonic, but they will stay for Sonic.

Ultimately, it's not about the journey or the destination for us - it's about the company.
